Is lateral inversion and spherical inversion is same ?

No both r not same as i think so

Lateral inversion" means the apparentĀ reversalĀ of the mirror image's left and right when compared with the object. "Lateral" just means "sideways". ... In a plane mirror, each point on the image is as far behind the mirror plane as the corresponding point on the object is in front.

In geometry, inversion in a sphere is a transformation of Euclidean space that fixes the points of a sphere while sending the points inside of the sphere to the outside of the sphere, and vice versa.
