Is light opaque?

Light is an electromagnetic wave. ... An opaque object is neither transparent (allowing all light to pass through) nor translucent (allowing some light to pass through). A lighted candle flame is opaque and we cannot see through it. But light spreading away from the light source is transparent and we can see through it.
