[Two friends met after a long time and discuss about luxury]

Rahul: So, what have you been up to in life at present?

Zoya: You know what I really want a luxurious life.

Rahul: Don't you think luxury is evil? The more you want, the more your greed gets enhanced and you end up wasting a lot of money.

Zoya: I feel just the opposite. One who spends on luxuries is actually encouraging trade and also helping the working class. They are in turn aiding the economy to grow.

Rahul: Luxury is often considered to be worse than imprudence. It can lead to bankruptcy and much more.

Zoya: Luxury helps one to become refined, and raises the standard of living. The world without luxury would have been reduced to the life of a savage.

Rahul: Maybe! However, a balance should be there such that the poor are not deprived of the basic rights. Then you can certainly appreciate luxury.
