Explanation:

The cortex region of the kidney is dark in color because there are so many capillaries carrying blood such as afferent arterioles and also the presence of glomerulus adds more of the dark red color.

The medullary region has got the loop of henle, the collecting duct, some part of proximal convoluted tubule and some part of distal convoluted tubule as they are not supplied with that much blood they appear to be dull in color

  • Medula , a lighter region consisting of striped like conical structures called conical pyramid and their apex is called papilla. Cortex ,the outer dark region .
  • Each kidney consist its fundame unit nephron whose, parts are according divided among cortex and medulla.
  • Cortex regjon have Bowman's capsule and proximal convoluted tubule of nephron which gives it a dotted appearance.
  • Medulla region consist loop of henle and distal convoluted tubule.
  • The urine after going through ultrafiltration , reabsorbtion anf tabular secretion enters into collecting tubule.
  • Which then enters into urethra by ureter and then is expelled out by mituration .
