Our distinguished leaders

Members of the clergy

Ladies and gentlemn

Boys and girls in your respective capacities i greet you all

Good morning

My name is Igaba Philo and i am here to give my two cents on this notion of human greed having destroyed universal peace. You see as leaders we ought to pose a bit and ask ourselves, are we doing the right things? are we serving our people? are we running our offices entrusted to us by our people well? because we are in a generation that is full of greed. People, leaders, parents, children are not satisfied with what they have. This has resulted in terrorism, power struggle, death, wrangles, war to mention. You see, this can only come about because people are just not satisfied. They want more. They will do whatever it takes to get more. So people are always on a look out. People no longer sleep in peace. They are worried sick, scared, frightened not knowing what is coming next. This has created tension among people. Who knows who is not happy with your job promotion and hence wants you dead? who knows who is not happy with your school performance and wants you executed? who knows what your next door neighbor is plotting just because you bought yourself another car? who knows what this evil, greedy world has gotten into. It is sick world that constantly needs prayers. Let us refrain from too much greed. let us learn to appreciate the little we have. Let us lift our friends, colleagues, neighbors because it is by lifting others that we also get lifted

In conclusion ladies and gentlemen allow me pose a challenge to each one of us. Are you satisfied with what you have or not? are you being too greedy that you are ignoring the red signs that maybe your neighbor is being affected? kindly let us all check ourselves and live harmoniously with our neighbors.

I thank you

Indeed now a days we see that mans greed is destroying peace everywhere.

Its come down to this point that the concept of global warming, which was once a fantasy has developed into a sad and deep reality today.

We see that most developed countries come about and keep over producing and increasing their carbon foot print, leading to problems such as increasing global warming causing environmental losses, degradation of multiple living organisms, destruction of forests and habitats, etc.
