Menstruation is the bleeding of the lining of the uterus. An egg is released every month. If the egg is not fertilized, the lining of the uterus decays and results in bleeding through the vagina.

Yes menstruation is the phenomena occuring in females..at the age of adolescence..
Eggs produced by ovary when dont get fertilised they get shed off with the inner lining of uterus in the form of blood ..
This cycle is repeated every 28-30days..in females..
