Yes it can be...you can prove it by your own theory!
So according to a space scientist.parallel universes are those universes which are parallel to is by this I mean the same thing which us happening here will be happening there...just like looking in mirrors.
Sometimes these universes get connected at a point by a transverse ..which you call as STAR GATE .
