Na+ is small in size because it is cation ...

AS WE ALREADY KNOW THAT CATIONS ARE SMALLER IN SIZE AS COMPARED TO NEUTRAL ATOM AND ANION....

HOPE IT HELPS U☺☺

sonadistyles: Cations are generally large if they are in the same period. Na+ is larger than Cl. Eventhough Na has a + charge. Even if Cl has a negative charge, Na will still be bigger. Generally ionic compounds (NaCl) are formed from combination of a large cation (Na) with smaller anions (Cl)

Na+ is bigger because it has only one electron in its M shell whereas  Cl is smaller because it has 7 electrons in its M shell due to the attractive force between protons is more in cl
