Question:

is ncert enough to score 95+ in board exam?

Answer:

Focus On Course Books

It might sound paradoxical but, your course books (NCERT books) are sufficient to score good in boards. So, go through your course books diligently. Practice well and mug-up all your lessons, topics and exercise questions.

Yes, NCERT is very important as most of the 3m and 5mquestions are asked in the board exam are based on ncert only. After going through ncert for 3 and 5m questions you need to grasp up the objective section and for that:

  • NCERT Exemplar is important to practice as there are more chances of its questions being given in the exam than the reference books like RS Aggarwal.
  • Chapter-wise practice through a good question bank is essential to get hold of the concepts. For this, you can buy Educart question bank (Good because it provides a lot of new types of tricky and conceptual questions for the in-depth knowledge of a chapter along with important NCERT questions and PYQs).
  • Practice sample papers (I think educart sample papers are more useful as the solutions are provided with detailed stepwise explanations) as they are very important to understand the new typology of questions and get hold on to the objective section.
