the nucleoid is a the genetic material carrier of bacteria.....this genophore or nucleoid is containing the circular double stranded DNA. without any histone proteins....this nucleoid is not bound by any nuclear membrane and hence we feel that it's contents should be scattered......but in reality these contents are organised on the double stranded DNA.........
