Yes it is produced by the effects of pseudopodia. The body shape is completely changeable. Food capturing and the locomotion of the amoeboids are occurring due to lobopodia (a morphological structure which is short, protuberant or rotund and appear stubby in appearance and shape, they are finger-like projections and tubular structures which contain ectoplasmic and endoplasmic fluid. Since, we are expecting to be specific we are taking the account of lobopodia only (type of pseudopodia in amoeboids). They are phagocytic in nature and involve in the process for phagocytosis, in which, they engulf or capture the food and subsequently release it as waste in a vacuole.
