I don't think that you are thinking that they have stopped going to the Moon because of Alien...The main reason for this was money. The cost of getting to the Moon was, ironically, astronomical......

Our moon is real it was formed as it is one of the pieces of earth only that broke and then cooled down and due to its own gravitational force and the earth's gravitational force it rotates around our Earth.
As I said that it is a broken part of earth maybe that's y.
NASA hasn't stopped acc to me when we had planned for chandrayan 2 they helped us so that their name could also be counted but other than that maybe they r on some other project who knows.
