Good question. The answer depends on theattitude of the countrymen. If the people are energetic, enthusiastic and optimistic, the country will definitely have a bright future. But if it goes the other way round, that is, if people continue to blame the government for every small and silly condition/situation/ill practice, the country may face emigration and recessions.

We, as proud citizens of our country should do something for our own country, which would make us feel proud. Often people feel that the elephantine population of India is a liability to the government. But the fact is, that India has many intellectual groups full of enthusiasm and creativity - be it software, chemicals, mechanics, business, medicine or whatsoever.  However, much of this intelligent population settles in western countries after graduation. The remaining 'complaining population' thus becomes a liability.

I'm not saying that this is the fault of those people who settle down in different nations. But here in India, we often are deprived of the facilities which are provided to the working people of other nations.

If certain policies are re-framed, India would definitely come up as a Software Hub in the upcoming years. The population should be a resource rather than a liability.
