Yes paneer is good for weight loss.
You could eat paneer which is basically protein and fats.
Hundred grams of paneer is rodubly 300 calories. So how much paneer you eat also matter as it contains a lot of it .

Yes but The only problem here is that the fat content present in paneer is saturated fat and therefore is unhealthy. So, over consumption could be unhealthy. But eating it in moderation may not hurt.
