Paracetamol is not an antibiotic.It is placed under a class of drugs called NSAIDS(Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs).
It is the most commonly sold OTC(over the counter ) drug and as a result the most commonly abused drug as well.
Its action is based on its dosage.Usually, it is used as an antipyretic ( temperature lowering), also as an anti-inflammatory, and in higher doses, to the tune of 1000mg, it acts wonderfully as an analgesic( pain killer).
