yes plastic is a disadvantage to environment bcz plastic is toxic in nature and can't be decomposed by the microbes

●if it will be burned it releases harmful gases which affect the ozone layer too much..
●the polythene we use is coloured with dyes if we use it as food carrier the food inside polythene will be contaminated.
