This sounds like something a conservative would like to say to a liberal. After all if the liberals got out of the way conservatives could get things done. And that thing would be to turn back time to maybe the ‘50s. Because of this it is very important for liberals to get involved in politics. When you see what conservatives want to do it is normally pro-business and anti-poor. Liberals are for the every man. Liberals are responsible for Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid. A veto proof congress with mainly liberals are why Nixon signed the clean water act. So, if you happen to be a liberal you had better be involved on politics because there are conservatives who are involved and what they want is not good for liberals.
