Is population growth is not a factor related to emviroental degradation?

ok lets see.

population growth is on a serious rise for a while now. population increase is a somewhat factor. my point being is that currently if one looks at the cause for environmental degradation, such as global warming, forest degradation, and and decreased biodiversity, will only be more with the increase of population. more houses will need to be built. more cars will need to be produced leading to the gas ejected from the car going into the atmosphere. there will be more waste everywhere. and many more. so if you look at the environmental degrade itself and the causes and results. humans are one of them so you can already see what will happen with the increase of them.
