Is Rate of change of momentum and Force equal?? (do they mean same)

If no.... Pls explain why.

Yes, they are same.... both are
F = m× a, and
rate of change of momentum = m×a ...

the rate of change of momentum equal force
dp/dt=F
d/dt(mv)
if mass m is constant
m* d/dt( v)
we know that rate of change of velocity is acceleration
m*a
=F
by Newton second law F=ma
