Generally, a gas behaves more like an ideal gas at higher temperature and lower pressure, as the potential energy due to intermolecular forces becomes less significant compared with the particles' kinetic energy, and the size of the molecules becomes less significant compared to the empty space between them.

real gases are those which have no interactions in between the molecules so to minimise the collisions we will have very low temperature and low pressure but high volume

anmol3421: volume is inversely proportional to temperature at fixed pressures
Mahisharthi: I'm sorry I wrote wrongly
Mahisharthi: volume is proportional to temperature.then how it will have low temperature and high volume
anmol3421: well volume depends on temperature only if other parameters are constant
anmol3421: like pressure no. of moles
anmol3421: we have to do work to increase the volume while decreasimg temperature
anmol3421: our this work done is used in overcoming intermolecular forces
Mahisharthi: ya now I understood
Mahisharthi: thank u
anmol3421: your welcome
