Is removal of undigested food from the body considered to be excretion ? Why ?

No,this is not wholly correct.The actual definition of excretion is the removal of metabollic wastes from the body...

The removal of undigested wastes from body is called egestion

Removal of undigested food from the body is egestion...not excretion
Excretion is removal of unwanted toxic wastes like urea ..other hormones in the form of urine
