Is respiration a chemical change? How?

Glucose is oxidised to CO2 and H2O (along with release of energy) at the cells by the oxygen from air we breathe in. Since glucose is converted into new products with different composition,respiration is a chemical change.

Hey...
When we take O2 then O2 reacts with glucose and make CO2 ,H2O And produce some energy.
we know that when new substance are formed in a reaction , that reaction is called chemical reaction so here After oxidation CO2 and water produce so it will also a chemical reaction...
