Yes, respiration is a chemical change. Oxygen is taken during the respiration,the output should be also the oxygen in order to make it a physical change. But,the output is carbon dioxide which is completely different from the oxygen

It’s chemical change because when we breath the energy in the oxygen is consumed so it cannot come back so it’s chemical change
