Answer:

yes pressure exerted by fluid is equal in all direction but as height of water increase potential energy of water at each level star punching the water level downward so the water level ta the bottom exert much greater force as compared to top level.

Here potential energy (mgh) is dew to g if we perform this experiment in space then g will be zero that is no potential energy for any levels of water so water will exert same pressure from top to bottom.
