its solid but not rigid

Rriya: thats not true
Rriya: rubber is a solid
Rriya: the property of solid is that it doesn't change it shape until external force is applied
medapati: ok
Rriya: and rubber doesn't change its shape until we strech it

Ultimately the answer is NO
If its gonna be solid it must remain rigid but its not so
Even it cannot be liquid
Rubber has very special and unique property of viscoelacitisy which makes it stand unique from other materials
In the very same way rubber bands are also viscoelastic which act as both elastic material and viscose.
Hope It Works
