Salpa maggiore, or just simply salp are a spices of translucent marine invertebrate. They do not have back bone an vertebral column. Although they physically  resemble jellyfish, they are actually more closed related to fish. They have some pints in their life cycle have at least rudimentary spinal cords or true backbones.
