see there r many reactions that occur inside the body by which we r alive ... for ex.. the chemical reaction (food we intake)of saliva is started in mouth and that food goes to stomach and there r also many reaction occur after that in small intestine reactions occur due to which many materials are absorbed or break down in simple substance. .. so it is necessary for sustaining life... even reactions occur in other life processes also...
