Solar energy is better than thermal energy due to following reasons:

• Solar energy is a renewable resource whereas thermal energy is a non-renewable resource.
• Solar energy is non-polluting and clean source of energy wheras a lot of Co2 is formed due to thermal energy.
• Solar plates can be easily putted on roof and don't need so much wiring whereas thermal energy needs a lot lubricant oil,that is very expensive.
• Solar energy is totally eco-friendly wheras thermal energy produces lot of carbon dioxide that is responsible to rise of Earth's temperature.
