Your approach is correct but its very important that you choose the right books in this process.
- NCERT- NCERT is a necessary book for concept building. It is also important because most questions ranging from 3–5m are given from it. So you need to complete reading and solving questions from NCERT if you want to score good marks.
- NCERT Exemplar- NCERT Exemplar is important because it contains more conceptual questions than NCERT.
- Question Bank- Question bank is necessary for practising chapter-wise questions of all the subjects. Educart question bank is a good option as they provide numerous questions in a chapter for in-depth knowledge. They also provide important NCERT questions and previous year questions along with new types of questions like case and assertion-based questions.
- Sample paper book- Sample papers are important to learn time management for the exam and to understand the latest paper pattern. You can choose XamIdea or educart sample papers (I chose this to practice new types of questions and also because it provides elaborate solutions for all questions, even MCQs. Also, it is more reliable as it is strictly based on the latest paper pattern and reduced syllabus)
