If we look at the star from space we will see that the star will be fixed at a point. But when we see the star from the earth e will see that it moves from one place to other in a period of time. This is because of the rotation of the earth. As earth rotates about its axis we also rotate along with the earth. This causes us to see the star moving in the sky. But in actuality the star is fixed at one point (excluding the fact that the universe is constantly expanding).
