Is starch powder in water a colloidal solution

Glucose does not show the Tyndall Effect, a characteristic of all colloids, so therefore, Glucose on its own is not a colloid. Now, a hydrocolloid is where Colloidic particles are suspended in water. Therefore Glucose + Water does not equal a Colloid.
