Is sulphur in the periodic table a metal or non metal

Sulphur is a non-metal

In the periodic table, sulphur is placed in the 16th group and 3rd period. All the elements placed in the 13th,14th,15th 16th, 17th,18th group are non-metals, So is sulphur.
