2x + (2x + 2) + (2x + 4) = 36, will i get marks bcz I didn't wrote the unknown quantity as x and instead wrote 2x even though my steps and answer are correct?

First 3 even numbers with sum 36

= x + (x + 2) + (x + 4) = 36

= 3x + 6 = 36

= 3x = 36 - 6

= 3x = 30

= x = 10

So, the first 3 even numbers with the sum of 36 are 10, 10 + 2 or 12 and 10 + 4 or 14.
