Let there is triangle ABC ,where angle B= 90 degre , AC is a hypotenuse , from angle A , Opposite side will be BC, and C adjacent side= AB

we know that tan A =   Opposite/adjacent

Sin A = Opposite/ hypotenuse

Cos A = adjacent/ hypotenuse

tan A =sin a / cos a

in RHS

sin a / cos a

Opposite/ hypotenuse/adjacent/ hypotenuse

Opposite/adjacent = tan a

therefore , RHS = LHS
