Tea and coffee are Kharif crops.  

The crops are divided into 2 major categories that is the Rabi crops and the Kharif crops.  

Rabi crops:

Rabi crops are crops that are sown in ‘winter’ that is by mid-November and harvested in spring that is the April or May.  

Kharif crops:

Kharif crops are monsoon crops or autumn crops they are sown in June and are ‘harvested’ in November or December.
