Science and technology are very closely related to each other but they are two distinct subjects. Science is a systematic enterprise which builds and organizes knowledge in the form of explanations which are testable. It also makes predictions about nature and the universe and tests them.

Technology applies the principles of science to create devices which can solve problems and perform different tasks. So we can say that technology is the application of Science and it is difficult to separate the two.
