no | - 5 is not a odd number . it is a negative integer . odd numbers are positive natural numbers which are not divisible of 2 .

examples : 1 ,3 ,5 , 7 ,9 ,11 ,13 ,15 ,17,19,21 .....etc.

-5 is not odd number because odd number is always positive so -5 is not odd . -5 is negative integer.
