Answer:
In uniform circular motion speed of the particle is constant. Therefore , tangential acceleration is zero. But, as direction of linear velocity is changing continuously , the particle is said to have centripetal acceleration ,( v^2/r ). Circular motion can also be studied in the context of angular variables.

When there is some circular motion there are two types of forces acting on the body is tangential and centripetal acceleration.
- When a body is moving with the constant circular motion, on that there is no tangential acceleration acting on the body. So there will be no tangential acceleration as the speed remain constant.
- As in the circular motion the body is constantly changing direction with changing velocity.
- But the uniform change shows the centripetal acceleration remains constant.
- As the velocity and acceleration is perpendicular to each other.
