Area of three adjacent faces of a cuboidal box

l*b= 120cm2 b*h= 72 cm2 h*l= 60 cm2

l*b=120

l=120/b .. (1)

h*l=60

h=60/l

= 60*b/120

= b/2 ..(2)

b*h=72

b*b/2=72

b2=144

b=12 cm

l=120/b = 120/12 = 10 cm

h= b/2 = 12/2 = 6 cm

Volume of cuboidal box= lbh

= 10*12*6

=720 cm3
