:no

Because alkali metals have valency 1 I guess and noble gases have 0 that is they have completed their octet so their atomic radius is more....

Pls mrk as brainliest

kriti200348: I requested u to click thanks and mrk as brainliest if u r contended with my answer.... And if not then I can explain u more....
pc12368: but noble gases have vanderwaals radius as well
akshay5967: ok bye

Yes, alkali metals have more atomic radius than Nobel gases as they have less electrons

akshay5967: yup
akshay5967: but the no of protons are more as compared to no of protons in Nobel gases
kriti200348: Exactly then how can u say it that alkali metals have more atomic radii
kriti200348: So the radius disentangle depend on no. Of proton
kriti200348: Does not**
akshay5967: proton attracts the electrons towards them so why the atomic radius differ
kriti200348: But the electrons stay at their position in their orbit.... They don't go out of their orbit toward the proton...
akshay5967: no
akshay5967: I studied it on iit
akshay5967: just follow me I will answer u
