• To find atomicity to an atom you have divide the molecular mass by atomic mass.

example :- Molecular mass of oxygen is 32 ( 16 x 2 ) And it's atomic mass is 16, So, the atomicity = 36/16 = 2.

• Atomic mass is the sum of all the protons, neutrons, and electrons in a single atom.

Answer: atomicity is not calculated but atomic mass is calculated.Atomicity is just the number of atoms present in a molecule.

In order to calculate the atomic mass it is compared with 1/12 th of the mass of one atom of C-12 isotope.
