Given,

Base of a parallelogram = 20 cm

Corresponding altitude = 25 cm

Ar. of Parallelogram = Base × Corresponding altitude

                                 = 20 cm × 25 cm

                                 = 500 cm².

Hope it helps !

Given:

The base and corresponding altitude of a parallelogram are 20 cm and 25 CM respectively.

To find:

We have to find its area.

Solution:

The area of the parallelogram can be determined as follows-

Area of a parallelogram is given as-

Area=base×height.

The base of the parallelogram is 20cm and the height or altitude of the parallelogram is 25cm.

Hence its area is as follows-

Area=20×25

Area=500

The area of the parallelogram is 500 square cm.
