The Golden Hour is the period immediately following a disaster or medical injury. If rescue and treatment is provided during this period, human lives may be saved. In the case of disaster management, this period is of vital importance too. In the case of damage due to foreseeable weather conditions like cyclones, disaster management teams evacuate people from possible places of destruction in advance so that minimum number of lives are lost.
