TO DETERMINE

In the equation 3x = 4 - x ,transposing -x To LHS we get.

EVALUATION

Here the given equation is

3x = 4 - x

LHS = 3x

RHS = 4 - x

Now transposing - x To LHS we get

3x + x = 4

⇒ 4x = 4

⇒ x = 1
