The experience of reading literature is not necessarily more important than googling information on the internet because ultimately its the consumption of information that is important. What the source of the information is not important. Therefore, rather than wasting time on social media, if a person reads articles, blogs and informative pieces online to obtain information online, through pages that he googled, it does not harm him.

The internet has given us the power to access information at any point of time anywhere in the world. All we require is a device with an internet connection. Prior to this revolution of the internet, books and literature were the single source of information. People would study for hours to find solutions. Now we can directly type in a question on the internet and get an answer within seconds. This habit has made us impatient; not only in reading but in life in general. Everything has to be quick - 4G . But reading literature is very important too. It helps in increasing one's vocabulary too. The one major advantage of reading from literature is that the source is always known and guaranteed. On the internet anyone can post anything that is accessible to millions. Rumours and speculations are born in these uncertain sources of the internet. Thus, to summarise although the internet is a boon to Information technology and mankind in general the age old literatures are equally important if not more.
