Is the experience of reading literature more important than googling information in the internet?

Both Literature and Google are great resources of knowledge and information. Both of them are as important as are vitamins and minerals for the body. As both vitamins and minerals are essential for the health and proper metabolism of the body, similarly Literature and Google are essential for the enlightenment of the mind.

Literature is a wonderful source to develop our language skills, imagination, vocabulary, wisdom, and aesthetics. We find a rare and divine wisdom of great men such as Shakespeare, Milton, Byron, Charles Dickens, J.K. Rowling in books of Literature, which is almost impossible to be found anywhere else. We become good readers only by reading Literature books as other books don’t have the joy, fun, and appeal to keep us glued to books. The sublime description of the ordinary things, events, and happenings of life can only be found in Literature.  

Google is like an ocean of information. All the facts and figures about anything in the world can be found on Google. Even the famous Literature books can be downloaded from Google. However, the information unlike Literature is not as appealing and intriguing. We access the needed information and the curiosity is quenched. But Literature stimulates our curiosity. For example, if we start reading Harry Potter and become even a little engrossed in its appealing plot, we won’t feel satisfied until we have finished all its seven sequels.

The conclusion is both Literature and Google are important and serve two different purposes. Neither of them can replace each other

Both “Literature” and “Google” are a good source of knowledge and information. Both of them give us better information like a human body which needs both vitamins and minerals to live.

Literature helps us to improve our language skills, vocabulary imagination, etc. Google is a large source of information like the ocean. All the literature books can be downloaded from Google itself. We can get all our needs with the help of Google.
