Yes, father is responsible for determining the sex of the child as the male has X and Y chromosomes whereas females have only a pair of X chromosome.

Suppose the egg containing X chromosome fuses with a sperm containing Y chromosome then the child born will be a boy with X and Y chromosomes.

Suppose the egg containing X chromosome fuses with a sperm containing X chromosome then the child born will be a girl with a pair of X chromosomes.

Hence we can conclude that father is responsible for determining the sex of a child.

Yes father is responsible for the sex of a child because the sex chromosomes in males will be XY while in females is the sex chromosomes will be XX.

If the male releases X chromosomes then the baby will be a girl. When the males release Y then sex of the baby will be boy.
