Is the figure shown here a quadrilateral? State, giving reasons. Tell Question 1​

No it is not. Though there are 2 triangles and if we join them differently we get a quadrilateral, and the sum of all the interior angles will be 360° only, the figure overlaps itself. Definition of quadrilateral: A polygon bounded by 4 line segments (there are more line segments in here; in a quadrilateral the line segments are joined at endpoints). And Definition of polygon: a simple (doesnt cross itself) closed figure. So this is not a quadrilateral.
