Is the following equation is quadratic? ` x^(2)-2x+5=x^(2)​

Answer:

x²-2x+5=x²

x²-x²-2x+5=0

-2x+5=0

the general quadratic formula is ax²+bx+c=0 where a≠0

OR

the highest power of quadratic equation is 2

since the equation -2x+5=0 is not satisfying the condition....

therefore,

x²-2x+5=x² is not a quadratic equation....

=>x²-2x+5=x²

=> x²-x²-2x+5=0

=> -2x+5=0

=> -2x= -5

=> x=5/2

therefore,the given is not a quadratic equation
