AGE OF FRIEND =x-4
AGE OF OTHER FRIEND=y-4
ATQ,
(x-4)(y-4)=48---------(2)
From. (1) y=20-x
PUTTING y=20-x in eqn. (2)
(x-4)(20-x-4)=48
(x-4)(16-x)=48
x(16-x)-4(16-x)=48
Not possible.
